You sniff the air with the intoxicating smell of gasoline filling up your nostrils. Bottles and bags of plastic drift off in the water and puffs of smoke flow in your direction. You close your eyes right before you gaze at the horizon. The rubble of broken glass and stones is at your feet while the water meshed up because of plastic coming into your direction with the site of a dead tree. Fire with plumes of smoke in the near distance and a broken skyline of factory after factories blend into the gray skies. The broken world reflects on your hands because this could have been in your control. Suppose you had just learned how to manage if you could have put a stop to this if we had not been selfish.
Our world isn't a world and can not compare to peace, coexisting, or nature. It is a business of selfishness and personal gain. We take from the environment and barely give back. The parallel to this is a coexisting environment with technology but liveliness in the air, clear blue skies, good air quality, clear waters, a thriving forest, and us, a provider for the environment not taking more than what is needed. We are living a life of selfishness and greed taking what should be shared and using more than what is given. It is cruel to live a life of ego and pollution to the very environment that helped each one of us to live. Our art provides an example of this and how our world will change because of our desire to gain. If we show and provide that liveliness back to our mother Earth, we will live a better life that is full of peace, and coexistence, with nature.
